Apache HTTP Server - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Apache HTTP Server is an open source HTTP web server for Unix-like systems (BSD, Linux, and UNIX systems), Microsoft Windows, and other platforms. Apache features highly configurable error messages, DBMS-based authentication databases, and content negotiation. It is also supported by several GUIs which permit easier, more intuitive configuration of the server. The Apache HTTP Server is developed and maintained by an open community of developers under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation.

Apache HTTP Server Documentation Project
The Documentation Project is an effort to maintain and improve the quality of the documentation included with the Apache HTTP Server. Participation is open to anyone with a little time, a little knowledge of HTML, and hopefully a little knowledge about the Apache HTTP Server. No programming knowledge is required, so this is a great way for non-programmers to contribute to the success of Apache, and to have their work read by millions of Apache users.

Apache Web Server Project
The Apache HTTP Server Project is an effort to develop and maintain an open-source HTTP server for modern operating systems including UNIX and Windows NT. The goal of this project is to provide a secure, efficient and extensible server that provides HTTP services in sync with the current HTTP standards. Apache has been the most popular web server on the Internet since April of 1996. The Apache HTTP Server is a project of the Apache Software Foundation.
